@sundogplanets They're raiding everyone's 401ks too. They're now listed on the NASDAQ and index funds automatically invest in them. Elon bankrupted all his companies because he's an idiot and a Nazi nobody wants to be associated with and needs money IMMEDIATELY. When everyone is bled dry, he'll lecture everyone about how they should just be more hardcore and figure out a way to make back all the money he stole.

@sundogplanets Tbf all rockets are an ecological disaster one way or another no matter who does it. All those Shuttle boosters did not just naturally break up or be used to form coral reefs, they're either breaking up slowly in the seas or forming an impenetrable layer of space trash encircling earth.

@sundogplanets not sure how planning to once again fail to get starship to orbit and send some new starlink satellites to maybe burn up on immediate reentry is going to help them fulfil the contract they signed with NASA to land astronauts on the moon in Q1 FY2025. But hey, if Musk wants to keep burning hundreds of millions of dollars a try, at least this time we’ll get to see how much lower the stonk price can crash when their shareholders see their spacecraft crash into the ocean.
