German grocery stores are expanding fast in the US because everything is so expensive under Trump.
Aldi already has 2500 stores, and is opening 500 more.
Trump — Making Europe great again. ♥️🇩🇪

Knowing how the business society works in the USA, in a short time the US governement will most probably force the owners to sell their stores to an US billionaire at a loss.
In Douglas Adams' how-why-where, the USA went back all the way back from where to how.
“The History of every major Galactic Civilization tends to pass through three distinct and recognizable phases, those of Survival, Inquiry and Sophistication, otherwise known as the How, Why, and Where phases. For instance, the first phase is characterized by the question 'How can we eat?' the second by the question 'Why do we eat?' and the third by the question 'Where shall we have lunch?”
@randahl This looks like investing in Russia since ca. 2014 or so. Sure, you might have a profitable business plan on paper, but I wouldn't count on reaching breakeven before all assets are seized by the hostile government.
@randahl Cool. I read that Aldi's on Wed. tends to bring in new items. I felt a little embarrassed going there (over ten years ago for the first time) but if you know your products/brands, you'll be fine here. I still end up going to other stores for some better quality products but Aldi's is pretty amazing for a small box store.
@randahl Now if only Trader Joes would come over here!
unfortunately the Billionnaire clans owning such businesses use the fortune they make there to push fascism in Germany, too.
Because apparently it’s good for them
