The English language needs a word for the rage I feel when the company that makes the pants I like discontinues them.

disconpantulated
This. I sometimes try to fight the matrix by buying several pairs.
@evacide its the snackwell devils food cookie trauma all over again.
@evacide The EU has banned destroying unsold clothing. This should encourage the fashion industry to keep products on sale longer. In these days of "fast fashion", it's easy to use cheap labor, crank out a bunch, then walk away. So this new regulation should help.
@evacide May I suggest -Enshittification?
English yes but I'm not sure it can be used outside Mastodon. I learned it here.
Similar to when you favorite olive oil/coffee/granola/etc. just disappears from the shelves of your favorite store?
I call that #traderjoeism
Но в русском же такие слова есть?
@izby Моего словарного запаса недостаточно для этой задачи.
@evacide Switch to German and coin a word like Hosenwut (for being really, really angry about pants) That's shorter than Schadenfreude.
@evacide right ass indignation
@evacide rug pull/pants pull?
@evacide trousers? are able to do that to you?
Ooof I know what you mean... got to the point that I take a certain pair of trousers I bought years ago to a tailor and get him the fabric to make me a pair from time to time, copying said pants every time because the 'certain brand' I used to buy from decided it was too much of a hassle to keep making BigandTall sizes. Fuck them I have them tailor made now.
Unobtainiangst?
@evacide Shoes. They get worse every year, so I regret not buying in bulk when I find a winner.

schadenjordache?
The same experience 50 years ago. They stopped making my favourite candy bar. Apparently too many liked it.
