The English language needs a word for the rage I feel when the company that makes the pants I like discontinues them.
Post
The same experience 50 years ago. They stopped making my favourite candy bar. Apparently too many liked it.
Forever Yours.
@evacide And it wouldn’t be quite as bad if companies were required by law to disclose their discontinuations months beforehand. Then at least you could stock up.
At least the pants that you already have don't vanish in front of your eyes. I mean, imagine if Google bought a pants company...
@evacide rephrase: ...when the company that makes $anyProduct i like discontinues it.
I'm meanwhile convinced that this is my secret superpower: find something i like and it gets discontinued. Looks like I'm not alone...
@evacide I know, right!? Happens all the fucking time...!
Trousore? Jeanraged?
@evacide the magic word to turn this rage into pleasure is: why?
@evacide when the product lifecycle is cut too short
@evacide never forgiving Keen for discontinuing the Hush fabric mary-janes.
never ever.
@evacide I’m sure there’s something in German.
@evacide Much easier in German: Lieblingshosenabkündigungswut.
