@hipsterelectron @SRAZKVT The demonic references within Inferno run quite deep. It makes me imagine that the team at Bell Labs was really going through it after Plan 9's failure as most people thought UNIX was good enough that switching wasn't worth it. I'm quite surprised that Inferno never really caught on among the extremely nerdy types given it was built to run alongside any OS. Perhaps they thought Plan 9 was good enough that switching wasn't worth it.
