Managed to whip up another D Flip Flop.

I think if I am able to spend about 2 hours per bit of hardware memory, the project will be time consuming, but is ultimately feasible.

These little D flip flops have not been fully wired up yet, they are currently just individual NANDs.

I posted today's soldering photos in the Computer Minimalism Facebook group, and was surprised to see my choice of vero board praised. Not often something like that happens in a walled garden.
