@Edent A large majority of Element's (and, by extension, Matrix's) funding comes from European government implementations so their use cases are getting priority. There is a big rush for self hosted comms in Europe due to strained diplomatic relationships to the US and increasingly erratic behavior from the vendor of the former favorite project, Microsoft Teams.
