A view down a series of buttresses to the left that are set against the wall of a cathedral to the right. The buttresses are constructed of pale brown stone, as is the wall. They rise upright for about 15 feet then curve to the right towards the wall. Along the wall there is a series of black painted drainpipes and window sills.
This area was used after the Civil War for houses built between the butresses and all sorts of marks on and around the stones are evidence of how the houses were attached to the stone.
