@joeneXtra XMPP has no real privacy built in. Delta chat has antiquated encryption.
@joeneXtra one is a protocol the other is an app,
in xmpp you don't have a multi-platform app you can recomend to friends and be sure everyone will enjoy a seamless experience, besides that, read here:
