An alarming and growing number of leaders in open source are starting to embrace generative AI and "agents" etc. We need to push back on this and let them know that we as a FOSS community do not want this. We must all do our duty to say no to this unethical technology.

@joeress Any particular leaders stand out? I haven't seen the headlines to match this and searching for "open source leaders embracing ai" isn't turning up anything.

@yoasif @joeress OK. I have seen that previously and didn't get the impression that he was embracing any unethical use of generative AI, he just used it to code up a personal project.
