@cstross I've always assumed that Sasha wakes up angry and political and just gets steadily angrier and more political as the day goes by.
Mind you, one of the funnier things I've seen was at a KMFDM concert when some guy crowd-surfing ended up fully upside down, with just his legs waving above the heads of the crowd, and even Sasha was unable to stop himself smiling.

Some artists need contracts that says "You'll get your thing when I have reason to be angry. Trust me, it'll happen."
