I can get behind that

My partner has long used the phrase ‘the carrion classes’…those whose living literally feeds from the blood, sweat and tears of others. They don’t make anything. They don’t do anything to help society. They just leech off of it in the most exploitative manner possible.
@chartier it’s time to read the communist manifesto.
Agreed!
They are predators and _abusers!_
They treat people with all the classic behaviors of abusers.
Restricting movement and person-to-person connections. Muddying information and education. Constant lying. Constant violations of boundaries and consent. Financial sabotage. Medical neglect.
Negging, threats, coercion, manipulation, intimidation. Belittling and dismissing.
Their actions as oppressors on the macro level, is as the actions of an individual abuser on a micro level.
@chartier idiots with too much money is more realistic
Predator can be read as a compliment for masculine-induced stupidity
@Nawer_Rapter Realistic, but not catchy enough for a hashtag or t-shirt, lol
@chartier ‘arseholes’ also works…
@chartier just call it the pedophile class let's call a duck a duck like damn
@chartier Brad Delong calls them (historically):
An élite of thugs with spears assisted by tame accountants, propagandists, and bureaucrats running a force-and-fraud exploitation-extraction-and-domination grift régime
(In https://open.substack.com/pub/braddelong/p/progress-studies-and and elsewhere)
@PeterLudemann The irony of that being published on Substack
@chartier I thought we settled on Epstein class?
@chartier All language is metaphor, and the metaphors we choose shape how people think about problems and solutions. The importance of words and ideology https://hamishcampbell.com/the-importance-of-words-and-ideology/
@chartier
#ThePredatorClass is good and fits well but I prefer #TheParasiteClass
as it better describes their societal function.
@chartier They're more like parasites than predators.
@chartier the pedo weirdo gang, a class with no class.
@chartier
We already have a term for centuries: bourgeoisie
