US border authorities are bullying the EU for data on EU citizens, including biometrics, criminal records and more, supposedly to determine if they "pose a risk to public security or public order".

While #privacy watchdogs, regulators & some EU parl members are particularly unhappy about this, the European Commission appears to be yielding, at least so far as engaging in talks with the US to "broker a deal".

@ccohanlon Shit, didn't know that. How is it that they even have the right to feed their people to a foreign gestapo and their machines. And worth noting the US would never accept the same vice versa.
