@cstross on your iPad mini? This iOS26 forced split screen is awful
@ttmevans It's okay on an iPad Pro or iPad Air. (Note that you can drag the message pane front and centre if you want it more or less full-screen.) The mini, with its emphasis on portrait display, badly needs a UI redesign: I think this is an iOS26 thing though, not Mail.
Thinking about it, if Mail on the iPad Mini gave you the iPhone view it'd be fine. Not all iPads are first class citizens in iOS land.
@cstross it is, as it also affects CloudNews (OSS reader for Nextcloud News). That app certainly has less dev time than Mail. But I use it less, as well.
iOS 26 is not great for me. There should really be a way to downgrade.
