45 year-old man, Chad Michael Watts, attacked a group of children protesting ICE in #Texas while wearing a read MAGA hat. The youth bravely fought back and defended themselves.
The far-Right carries out violence in support of Trump and threatens our freedom, our children and working-class communities everywhere.
I'm really hoping that they are going to prosecute this man for assault and/or assault of a minor.
Some prison time and/or a sizeable fine will make people like him think twice before performing such an inexcusable act. What a profoundly horrible man.

@igd_news TLDR from reports: Superintendant and Governor claim the students were asking for it and threaten them in the event of any continued protest, whereas local police, public, students, and court fault a grown-ass adult (from outside of town) for assaulting children and, it should go without without saying (but was vocalized by same local parties because wtf folks): no provocation.
