This is an interesting and occasionally very scary episode, with some wild dramatic plot moments, and perhaps the silliest/stupidest base concept of all.

That is, Earth’s moon has always been an egg for a space dragon.

I’m not sure that ruins it for me. I kind of appreciate how big a swing it is.

@troberts if you find the idea of a hatchling space dragon in the sky to be scary, reassure yourself with the reality that the moon is moving away from Earth at a rate of 3.8cm per year. So if we can just delay the egg hatching, it might be far enough away that it’s no threat to us.
