What do you suppose the tech giants will do with all that data center capacity (of those that have been built) when GenAI falls off the deep end?

@distractal one thing I learned from a @pluralistic essay/talk on the subject is just how short lived the computing infrastructures in those data centers is (the GPUs in particular).
So I'm not sure what sorts of things those facilities will actually support.
