Note to the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee ahead of the Thursday's interest rates' decision.... inflationary pressure persists but it s coming from international freight charges; interest rates don't influence these!

Its just one more aspect of inflation that violates the BoE/MPC wages-drive-inflation model, and as such undermines the logic for continued high(er) interest rates.

But the sado-monetarists have their fingers in their ears!
