Is there an app like Libation (downloads audiobooks from Audible) but for Apple Music?
The only thing I want to do is put the stuff I'm already paying for on my iPod that's also from Apple, ideally as ALAC files.

If you have an Amazon account, I just learned today that (if I read it correctly) Amazon Music can do it. One of the default options is to link to iTunes, and the ability to download is built in.
I'm not an Apple user though, so YMMV
@thomasfuchs I've started to burn all my iTunes/Apple purchases onto an Audio CD, as a backup, and rip them again to remove the DRM. :D
@bastilian @thomasfuchs iTunes purchases are (almost always) DRM free. I did notice that some artists sons have gone from m4a to m4p. And done never had DRM free. (Looking at you Soko)
So no need to burn to disc and rip.
@kattebel @bastilian fwiw I’m talking about Apple Music, not iTunes.
@bastilian hmmmm I guess that could work? it seems convoluted and ends up missing metadata... hmmm
maybe there's virtual cd-rw drive
@thomasfuchs Yeah, it is a bit more effort to do it this way. For me it's kinda like what gardening is to others to spend time.
I didn't look if there is something that does this virtually, but there must be.
