A very Swedish affair:

Booked a London weekend (down from Yorkshire) but realised after booking everything that the day of the return trip is Vasaloppet – a cross-country ski race that my partner watches every year.

Have now paid to catch a later train so we can watch it in the hotel room, and have added the traditional bilberry soup to our packing list.
