I see a lot of people sharing these news and... While it's good news in theory... In practice, as a French person, I can tell you that the chances that the replacement is not shit are quite slim, just like everytime the government sponsors such a project.
@David alors ça dépend. La gendarmerie tourne avec un OS maison qui est un fork de je en sais quelle distro et ça a plutôt l'air de fonctionner.
Pas mal de services territoriaux sont passés sous LibreOffice depuis quelques années ; c'est à partir du niveau régional que MS Office est indétrônable - et un sujet de moquerie entre collègues.
Donc déjà très variable selon l'administration concernée ; à voir à l'usage.
@cousinnalesk Oui, je pensais plutôt aux divers sites web faits avec les pieds pour le public. Peut-être que les logiciels utilisés dans les bureaux sont de meilleure facture.
@David là aussi ça dépend. Les sites internes, ya du bon et du mauvais.
Un truc comme filigrane.beta.gouv.fr c'est top.

@David I have tested the Google Calc replacement today… and it is not really a Google calc/Excell replacement. Closer to a database. Interesting, but that's quite a bit to learn anew.
In any case, all these products are based on existing open source projects, which should be much more functional than a I house development (or worse, outsourced to the cheapest codemonkey company). For instance visio is based on Jitsi
@David They'll probably just decide to dust off Minitel.
@khleedril Minitel was amazing technology for its time.
It was expensive (as you paid by the minute) but it really democratized the idea of the internet years before people even heard of the internet (it even predates the www)
