My second year chem started their iodine clock reaction analysis today which means a ton of concentration calculations to even be able to _start_ the analysis. I decided to take 20 minutes to help them build their first spreadsheets which calculate everything for them.
It really reduced the cognitive load so they can focus on the kinetics rather than mindlessly doing dilution calculations. They can now do the same for the other reactant. I'm really happy with my choice.
