#Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:
A couple (80s?) walk out of a supermarket in a small country town, search through their trolley for a pack of fresh baked cupcakes and gleefully crack it open.
Standing in the morning sun, nibbling on little frosted morsels of happiness.
A man (20s?) is strutting down an evening-quiet street with a board game under his arm. (Carcassonne?)
There's important board game business to be done and he's ready for it.
Cicadas click clicking in trees overhead.
A nearby dog woofing a "Who goes there?"
A very pregnant woman (20s?) is wandering around Kmart while hugging a giant blue Stitch plushie.
A man (30s?) greets her asking, "Heya cuz! What ya got there?"
She laughs and holds out Stitch, saying, "Hug THIS."
He does and laughs, "Oh yeah! It's mine now!"
A man (40s?) in sensible hiking wear with a high tech pair of binoculars is standing at the edge of a river, grinning as he looks at a magnified family of California quail derp-running* chest first across a walking track.
Making little quail noises as quails do.
(Best. Birds. Ever.)
A tourist stops at a food truck doing smash burgers and loaded fries in a small country town.
Looking at the menu she says: " YES! You have American mustard!"
The server does a big evil cackle: "AH HA! It's a tourist trap. Ya fell for it."
Laughing, she orders a burger, fries, the lot.
