"Ministers have accepted $1m (£728,000) from Meta, the US tech and social media company, to build AI systems for defence, national security and transport, sparking warnings about the UK government’s “alarmingly close relationship with Trump-supporting US tech giants”."

How can ANYBODY who is not being actively bribed or blackmailed think this is a good idea for UK national security?!

One of their aims is:

"We are calling for:
The Government to raise the age of social media access from 13 to 16."

I don't think that's really the answer.
