while everyone seems to be taking a PISS as some journals (see the PISS preprint), did people notice the significant growth of the stock sentence:

"No datasets were generated or analysed during the current study."

It seems to be a new publisher thing, probably in light of data availability standards.

But it worries me a bit when this is used for articles where clearly data was used. But doesn't any research article generate datasets? Even review papers do.
