@greenpeace We should also factor in the immense energy consumption of AI data centres in Europe, which are owned by US corporations. They account for the massive increase in energy consumption!
The problem is the addiction to fossil fuels cannot be stopped overnight. The road to renewable energy continues. Recently I saw german data where its contribution is growing continuously.
