@daedalouseros
Lots of different ways to handle it depending on relationship specifics. In my first triad, I married one partner, mainly for insurance benefits bc fuck the US, and lived with both partners.
Later relationships have never been able to live with more than one partner (variety of reasons) but have opted out of state marriage for reasons that don't relate to polyamory. Been rethinking it a bit lately bc REALLY don't like the idea of my surviving parent as legal next of kin.

@Canageek@wandering.shop @WizardOfDocs@wandering.shop sure! It's culturally adjacent enough. #polyamorous #polyam #polyamory
@daedalouseros I married the person I went to spend the rest of my life with as my nesting partner ( @WizardOfDocs ), partially so he can move to Canada, and we keep up other romances as well (Well, he has two right now, I have none)
@Canageek @daedalouseros of my other major entanglements, one is American and one is British, so I only get one at a time however you slice it
@WizardOfDocs@wandering.shop @Canageek@wandering.shop boarders and distance are queerphobic!
@daedalouseros indeed
and @Canageek and I have been long distance for YEARS at this point
I'm moving back in with hir as soon as I'm allowed to
