If Democrats in Congress want to fight Trump regime’s fascism, these steps are a start.
1. Vote no on DHS funding bill.
2. Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE.
3. End qualified immunity for ICE agents.
4. Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law.

5. Impeach Noem and Bondi.
6. End the Kavanaugh stops with racial profiling and end the militarization of ICE.
7. Codify a use of force standard so courts can enforce the law against rogue ICE agents.
8. Tear down and replace ICE with an agency that has oversight.

@heidilifeldman Limit Customs and Border Control jurisdiction to 10 miles from the border. Limit ICE to only able to make arrests with a judicial warrant. Move immigration courts out of the executive branch into the judicial branch.

great start. we could then use it as a template to clean up local police, ditch qualified immunity, prosecute police misconduct/use of force.
@heidilifeldman We can do better. How about ending qualified immunity *flat statement* and we never consider ever doing anything like ICE ever again.
@heidilifeldman I would add that we need to include CBP with ICE in all these statements. The CBP agents may be worse than ICE agents.
