#Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand:

Two tiny humans (1?) are being carried in different directions down a busy street. Their mums cross paths and Tiny Human Strangers reach out their hands, momentary touching fingers, expressions marvelling at seeing another so small as themselves.

Two fluffy cats are facing off under a hydrangea bush.
Tails puffed, backs arched.
This is WAR!
But what is this?!
A big grey cat entering the picture?
Watching on, blinking.
Well, this is disconcerting...
Maybe they'll slink off to fight another day.

A small human (5?) is holding a sandwich in one hand and a mighty stick in the other
But wait!
It's not JUST a stick!
It's a Special Seagull Summoning Stick!
With a magnificent roar, he raises it to SUMMON SEAGULLS.
(By covertly dropping bits of sandwich on the ground.)
HE. IS. TRIUMPHANT!

A cafe server who's been away visiting her family in Ireland is back at work. Regulars walking in, telling her how much they've missed her. Catch up conversations and hugs. She's far away from home but she's loved.
Laughter and happy chatter in the air.

A small human (6?) is proudly walking around a big department store holding a precious new pencil case, pencils, a ruler and crayons. Mum is asking if he wants to put his new school things in a basket but he shakes his head emphatically. These are HIS.
