I do use brid.gy to link to #Bluesky , but I fully understand and support everyone who chooses otherwise.
Everyone has different safety needs, after all.

Same. I just think it would have been prudent to clarify that you don’t have to block the bridge or take any action, if you’ve never consented to being bridged (I.e. followed that account) in the first place.
Well, you _can_ see posts by Bluesky users on the Fediverse if they are using the bridge from their side.
Presumably, the people on the Fediverse who block brid.gy don't want _any_ Bluesky posts in their feeds.
