A clump of moss with a blanket of ice growing inside the trunk end of a fallen and hollow tree.

Slippery Rock Creek. It’s more of a river than a creek, popular with whitewater kayakers even in the winter. Here the river is blurred in a long exposure effect with a couple large boulders sticking out of the water. The far bank is lined with hemlock trees.

A small waterfall tucked in a ravine. Huge and mossy boulders are scattered all around (hard to tell the scale from the picture but they are very large rocks) and bare trees line the slopes of the ravine.
