Can someone explain to me why people keep talking about male sheep from Eastern Germany?
Apparently everyone wants them and there's not enough to go around?
This is so weirdly specific. Why is a DDR ram is so distinctly desirable suddenly?

@rysiek Oh it is so simple to explain!
Most sheep are quite skittish so you can only pat them once before they run away.
DDR rams on the other hand are two-stroke sheep.

@rysiek Because SDR RAMs have half the bandwidth and generally higher latency. They're very sluggish by today's standards.
I think it's to do with Artificial Insemination or something like that.
