Coming through!

I think this is a sharp-shinned hawk; I see Cooper's hawks more often. This bird seemed small, and their head and bill shapes look a little different than a Cooper's. I could be wrong, though.

This bird landed on one side of the tree and perched for a bit. Then, they hopped and ran to the other side of the tree before taking off (right after this photo).

A sharp-shinned hawk walks across a tangle of branches near the top of a tree. Their left leg is extended fully, showing off their hawk pants. The bird is looking ahead, past a mostly in focus gnat.
