As part of a small team, I've been talking to Canadian NGOs, advocacy groups, policy groups, and think tanks, and academics about technological sovereignty. It's exploratory at this point for me and my colleagues. But an early report I can share: there's a lot happening, among multiple groups, in this area.
Relevant to my own interests is an interest among some of the groups in Canadian social media.
