But also, I had a sinking feeling that this is all just a sideshow, and the moment we should all be bracing for is when China invades #Taiwan I don't see that ending quickly--I do not want Taiwan to capitulate--but it's going to be ugly.

@dnkboston Why would it invade when it can just blockade?
@michaelgraaf I'm not a military strategist and have only read a little bit of military history. I'm sure a blockade will be part of it. But the rumblings for the last few years indicate a desire to occupy.
