There is no de-escalation from the Trump administration. Social media is filled with videos of ICE agents abusing their power, threatening people, beating up people, and breaking the law, as if the criminals are now the police.
If this continues, at some point citizens will take up arms, and all hell will break lose. And when that happens, I will repost this post to illustrate that this new level of violence was both foreseeable and fully preventable. But Trump deliberately chose violence.
It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire Republican Party machine, their voters, supporters and sponsors who are behind this.

@randahl You may be right but.. This would give the administration the pretext they need to cancel elections. Best to stick to non-violent resistance including prosecutions.
I'm surprised nobody has targeted ICE employees with indelible ink that would identify them when unmasked.

@pmarrone I believe, it matters less how liberals are in general. Trump’s advantage is, all it takes is a handful of easily provokable people to take up arms, and then Trump has the civil war he seems to be going for.

Trump wants to stoke the equivalent of the Reichstag fire to trigger the next level of dictatorship.
We need mass protests but they must be peaceful. This approach worked for South Korea; Americans can use it, too, but *before* Trump's martial law attempt.
