I need a ring-style door camera that’s not sucky and also doesn’t rat me and my neighbors to the cops without my say so every time.

Remote storage is a must.

My tolerance for config futzing is 6 out of 10. (1 being do literally nothing beyond mounting and power, 5 being rig up some docker thing following mostly correct docs, 10 being build my own hardware and and write my own software.) (This scale feels logarithmic.)
