@jbz I never quite understood that really. I didn't hate it myself (mind you I was quite young at the time, lol) though I did get bored of it fairly quickly and just stopped using it because it wasn't interesting to use anymore. I could sort of see it as an interface for people who just didn't get computers though. At least back there there sure was a powerful attitude of almost outright hatred towards computers and a refusal to learn them at all. (Kind of like how most normal people perceive Linux today.) In the end it wasn't great for efficiency or anything, but I do kind of wonder why it didn't make for a friendlier interface for those who were afraid of a normal GUI.
