Hi @cheeaun
I've used markdown in a message even if my instance does not render it.
https://piaille.fr/@ancilevien74/115841949729905390

As can be seen on the screenshot, phanpy renders the block surrounded by 3 backticks but still shows the backticks at the beginning and end.

Is it the expected behavior or a bug?

I'm on android, iceraven (fork of firefox), phanpy version 2026.01.02.d7ca1363 hosted on my own server.

The text inside the backticks is in a block.
The backticks at the beginning and end of the block of text are visible.

Same message rendered in my instance website, the backticks are visible as expected as markdown is not rendered.
There is no display of a block around the text.

@ancilevien74 expected. Phanpy will preserve the original content rendering — it doesn't parse them as Markdown. The block rendering is just a best-effort nice-to-have styling.
