Yesterday AQNetwork and Trans Rescue cooperated to rescue Ebong, a #trans woman, from Luzira Upper #Prison in #Uganda, where she had been for 2 years. Luzira is a high security men's prison in Kampala. She is suffering from a variety of medical issues, including skin diseases and STDs due to conditions in Luzira. She is recovering in a shelter for trans women inside Uganda and receiving medical treatment now.
