i think the fire department would have some words for whoever built this
Man. I genuinely remember nothing beyond the basic setup.
Also, 30 meters of water doesn’t sound that deep does it. Could you just dive up 30 meters? idk. moot point if you’re stuck inside, anyways.
One of the characters (but not your player viewpoint character) being literally named „You“ certainly makes the prose exciting in English
John Ever17….
Sorry for the „screen shot“, I am playing on my steamdeck
actually? i wonder. If I take a screenshot on deck via steam can i get it via steam app on my phone?

Peak gaming setup. Though also we‘d really like to eat hotpot soon and I cannot prepare nor eat hotpot like this
These dipshits built an underwater amusement park that has doors you can open to the outside air and release pressure inside and then did not build it in such a way that the structure can withstand loss of internal pressure??
@halcy from context i infer this is fictional which imbues me with great relief
The German in this is Very Funny, as usual. Not even wrong grammar or anything it‘s just funny seeing the random phrases slotted in
@halcy It's about as deep as a ten-storey building is tall. Could you swim down that far, and back up? I couldn't, even when I swam regularly, but there are plenty of divers out there who can.
@owen well, in this particular situation, it‘s only the up direction that’s required (in this games story, the protagonist is currently trapped in an underwater amusement park). I… am not sure I could, but I feel a reasonably fit person might manage
@owen i guess I‘m wondering more like, will your lungs explode when you get up there or alternatively will you struggle to get out quickly because there has to be some kind of airlock
@halcy Hard to say, honestly. Most freedivers start from a 1 atm baseline, diving with the air they can inhale. It won't expand as they surface more than it compresses as they dive.
On the other hand, someone inhaling air at nearly three bar - the pressure at 30m depth - and then surfacing will have the air in their lungs trying to triple in volume as they surface. Successfully holding that in would cause a fatal lung injury; you _have to_ exhale as you rise.
