It's a shame that in #Vim if you, say, wrap a word in quotes by going cw"<C-R>"", when you repeat that with . elsewhere, you get the first word wrapped in quotes, not the word at the cursor. The <C-R>" is "evaluated at compile time", not saved as is and rerun upon each . repetition.The workaround is easy of course: just record a macro to "delay evaluation", but I like how often . lets me avoid a full-blown macro and wish it did here too.
