@plantarum On the Mastodon interface, the "Home" feed shows people and hashtags you follow. It's represented by a little house on the Mastodon menu, even if you live in an apartment.
@plantarum If you click "Live feeds", there are three options on the sub-menu: This server, Other servers, All. The "This server" feed used to be labelled "Local", which some people still call it. The "All" feed used to be labelled "Fediverse"; again, some people still call it the Fediverse feed.
