I've been stuck on #1Password 7 for years because I didn't want to move to the cloud, but this weekend I finally got #Vaultwarden set up on a #RaspberryPi and it's going well so far.

@jsit This is also what pushed me to Vaultwarden as well, as much as I liked 1Password. Vaultwarden has been great though.
If it’s on a Pi at home, I would recommend checking your client app preferences and consider setting the Timeout action to Lock, not Logout, so that if the Pi is down you can still access to locally cached data.
(I also felt better once I had backups set up; and I have a sub to the RSS release feed on Github so I notice version updates)
@mez Thanks! Looks like “Lock on timeout” is the default, but good to know. I wasn’t entirely sure what would happen in that case, but it has “felt like” the clients have local copies.
