ThinkPad? My ThinkPad from 2019 had the exact same problem, as did my partner's from 2016. Once you have access to small screwdrivers, open the laptop, disconnect the battery, wait a minute, press the reset button, reconnect the battery, and start the laptop. After a few seconds into the boot process, connect the power cable.
