Five years ago I had a particuarly vivid dream: I was at a fair ordering food from a food truck. There was something on the menu called “Pear Surprise”. I don’t remember what it was, but it was so surprising, it woke me up!

There has been much speculation over the years in my family about what a Pear Surprise might be. Is it full of pears when you don’t expect it? Does it actually not contain pears at all? NO ONE KNOWS!!!

So Kid 2 made me a Pear Surprise for Christmas! I am surprised.
