that's probably mexican, and chorro has (at least) two connotations:
- diarrhea
- undeterminated high number: "a lot", many, too much
In this case and due the context, I'm pretty sure they meant the latter; "un chorro de mejoras" implies the reviewer is glad to see that many improvements in #elementaryOS

@danirabbit yeah, that's very local Mexican, I'd say more around center to south, as in not so common for northern (Norteño) nor close to US border. The idea is, you have "a chorro" as in too much 💩, but with stuff. How many? Indeterminate, but more tha a few. Different than applied to a person "tiene chorro" which is diaharrea
