I’ve been gifted this handy reference. Honestly a bit surprised by how much stuff is lickable.

Same shirt, closer.

A black t-shirt with the periodic table printed on it. The elements have been colour coded to answer the question “Can I lick it?” The legend is: Green = No problem, Yellow = Problem, Red = Yeah, No, Dark grey = Ya dead.

Basically you don’t want to mess with most of the alkali metals and all of the halogens. Also mostly anything above polonium looks like a bad idea.
