Trump has again expressed a desire to annex Greenland.
He is clearly overlooking the asymmetry:
— If Denmark closes the US space base at Pituffik, every country will side with Denmark, because no country would want to host a nation who wants to invade; while the US will suffer a strategic setback in The Arctic.
— If the US invades Greenland to keep Pituffik Space Base, Trump places the US in a situation like Russia — a paria state which the world condemns for attacking a democratic nation.

I think, that that #PariahState thing is anyway imminent to the #USA - considering what happened in the #UN about #venezuela .
I don't think, an administration that gives a s**t about their own people will think twice about other countries.

I dunno. There are too many European "leaders" for whom the choice between "democracy" and "their capitalist sponsors" will be a coin toss.
