I have returned to #AdventOfCode and still beating my head against the wall on #DayThreePartTwo in an interesting death spiral.

• Script a solution for the sample data
• Obtain microdose of dopamine
• Run it against the production data
• Watch it fail in new and interesting ways
• Try to repair the code
• Decide I either didn't really understand the problem or that my approach is making it harder than it should be
• Declare I'm an idiot
• Start over from scratch
• Go back to Step 1

So far, I have failed nine times. Does that make me persistent or consistent?

On the upside, my bash scripting is getting faster and better, which I think is the point of the challenge.
